The acrps conference in Leipzig is the fourth event, which current developments in the field of energy supply for AC railways present and a discussion forum for the development, planning and operation of railway power supply systems involved experts and specialists of railway companies from the transport engineering industry, railway authorities and consulting businesses.

The third-acrps conference was increasingly international character and is currently the largest of its kind in Europe. The year 2007 was attended by over 430 participants from 11 countries. The two-day conference was held under the auspices of the Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs, Wolfgang Tiefensee, will take place. There were 26 presentations in seven sessions.

The fourth event will be further internationalized. A simultaneous non-German visitors will be offered (German - English). Priorities of the fourth symposium are:
